Multi-award winning Australian folk-rock act and internationally acclaimed songwriter Kaurna Cronin returns to Europe in 2026 with his band for the release of Jester In A Mess, a conceptual album tracing life on the road across generations. Twice nominated as 'Artist Of The Year' at the Australian Folk Music Awards, and awarded the prestigious Folk Alliance Australia 'Artist Of The Year', Cronin has graced some of the largest festival stages across Australia and Europe including Woodford Folk Festival, Rudolstadt Festival (DE), Port Fairy Folk Festival and Viru Folk Festival (EST).
WIth songs and soundscapes shaped by the vast landscapes of Australia, where horizons stretch wide and roads seem endless, Cronin writes songs and tells stories that lay bare the human condition with honesty, tenderness, and humor.

It also marks the 10-year anniversary of his celebrated album Southern Loss, offering a rare double lens into his past and present artistry. Over the past 15 years, Cronin has become renowned for his relentless international touring, performing thousands of concerts across 21 countries. His travels have never been about merely passing through: he immerses himself in the places he goes, reflecting the spirit, resilience, and poetry of the people he encounters, turning life and observation into song. His performances – from intimate listening rooms to festival stages – have evolved into enriching, invigorating experiences that move audiences of all walks of life.

Cronin’s work has been widely acclaimed, having been awarded Folk Alliance Australia’s ‘Artist Of The Year’ and twice nominated for ‘Artist Of The Year’ at the Australian Folk Music Awards – along with a collection of presitgious awards including APRA Emily Burrows Award, Fowler's 'Best Live Act' and South Australian Music Awards 'Live Music Award'.

In 2025, Cronin has released a collection of singles, including the acclaimed “The Beauty Of The Backroads”, and now looks ahead to his most ambitious work yet – Jester In A Mess, due for release on October 24th, 2025. Written through the lens of a new father, the album is a conceptual exploration of life on the road, tracing his journey back through the stories of his parents and into his own unfolding chapter.

This release follows a mammoth 30-date European tour, officially endorsed by UNESCO Cities of Music, where Cronin and his band sought out unique, off-the-beaten-track venues, creating unforgettable connections in places far from the usual circuits. The journey brought striking discoveries and illuminating experiences, soon to be shared in the forthcoming Beauty Of The Backroads documentary (late-2026).​
